You can access the cached version for any page that has been saved by Google with this:

    webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cacheexample.com/
Change example.com/ to any URL. You can also create a custom search engine on Chrome or a Firefox keyword to go to cached versions automatically by adding a keyword before the current URL address.

Many times it happens, google fetches the relevant and appropriate title which it feels suitable for a website.

It's possible that Google finds your title poor, and they're "helping you" by changing it. If you've got a list of keywords or something like that this is likely the reason.

If the site ranks and people are clicking your link, it doesn't really matter if Google is using different title in their results.
    Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
