easy backlink- is it going to work!

i have 2 websites on same hosting plan. can i use one of this site to rank another one. for example add new post with anchor text pointing to my second website is it good or not?

i am asking this because google knows that both sites are mine and they are registered on same hosting .

    It's fine, I've been doing it for years. Then again all the sites involved target the same niche.

    Look at the footer on animalplanet, they own all those domains.

    One link is going to suddenly make you dominate the SERPS, so Google really don't care about it.

    It's incredibly common for people with two sites to recommend their other site to their readers, and Google would not try to punish you for this. Just don't expect the link to make much difference, especially if they are on the same IP. Although you should link it anyway. There are probably a number of readers on your tech and games review site who would enjoy playing some flash games, and there are probably plenty of people playing those flash games that would have an interest in a tech and games review site.

      Yeah, I agree with you. There is no negative factor to create links between sites, just they don't make any difference.

        You're wrong, those links can make a difference.

        Backlink pages tend to trail money pages in the SERPs when both are targeting the same keyword/s. Having multiple pages ranked per keyword can generate additional SERP traffic.
