Link building in adult niche

What would you say is the best way of generating link equity, in the adult niche. I am not talking about buying links, but anything else, that can generate link value, based on time spent for doing the work.

Social media accounts, forum profiles, reciprocal links, link trading, blog networks (all of the same IP, or other footprints), dont seem to be very good. What would be your advice for somebody planning to work on something like this?

Thanks.

The adult niche is one of those niches where you really understand myths and realities in SEO, besides buiding your private network as Yukon said, and since you dont want to buy links there are no other ways of getting backlinks besides link exchange usually A-B-C, link dumps (traffic mostly, because you wont stay in the first page for long) and social media is ZERO, just twitter allow adult content the rest is super banned

Ok, so this would be something like a private blog network. It could be based on already used domains, with some backlinks, unique Class C IP's, and all other things like this, in order to conceal the fact that it is a network, what people say is impossible, these days (a lot of footprints, like creation date, the same registrar, other similarities, that can be found and filtered out algorithmically).

I guess I would do this, and then try to get some inbound links through something like Linkspun. Maybe get links from some social media sites (something like link wheels has not been working for a while), directories, and other things.

I am not saying that I dont want to be buying links, I am just not asking about it here. I want to be buying links, as it seems to be necessary, especially in this niche, but I am wondering how can I get something good for free. Good, would mean, worth the time invested for it, and so on.

Some articles on the Internet say not to use spun text, but this is probably ok. It takes less time than writing by hand, and it should easily pass (good quality sites, based on spun text rank just as the other ones).

Any other advice would be good. I know quite a lot about it (6+ years of full time experience, adult sites), so I can share some info too.

    Thanks.

I used to work on a network of over 200 blogs, and I had 100 separate subdomains on Tumblr. It was sending quite a lot of traffic, good quality, something along the lines of Facebook, and VK. They deleted them all, at some point (all of them were created with different email addresses), all at the same time, and there was no way to reinstate them, with them. If you use Tumblr, I recommend at least backing it up.

For the above reason, I dont like putting too much work into sites that I dont own, as domains can be dropped, sites deleted, and so on. Tumblr wont get dropped, obviously, but they can delete it, at any time.

There have also been issues with google traffic to Tumblr, you can check it at SemRush.com. I think that they shut them down, because it was a competition to Blogspot, or something like this. If there is no traffic from google to there, backlinks from Tumblr may not be good too.

I always open accounts on Wordpress, Tumblr, and all other sites like this, for everything like do. It is good for branding, and it often shows up on the first pages of search results, too.

Social media marketing like Tumblr, Twitter and blog posting will help you in link building. Tumblr and Twitter are very popular social media sites for adult marketing.

I know that Twitter is good, and I started using it now. I am actually reading 4 books about it now (one of the best books, that are out there, from amazon.com, good publishers). Facebook and Pinterest can be used too, and I am talking about adult.

I think PBN is best for you. Here you can create a private network with many clients of the same niche.
