How do you structure your money site?

On your money sites, how do you guys decide if your offers are on the home page, or another internal page?

Meaning, if you have your home page A, and a couple of supporting pages B C and D, do you put your offers directly on A? Or on B, C, or D?

(in this example A would be mysite.com, and B/C/D would be like mysite.com/some-other-page)

If you have your offer on B/C/D, are you trying to necessarily rank that page? OR do you send juice to your home page with the hope that you entice people to click through to the offer page(s)?

Thanks!

I wouldn't use a Home page as a sales page because that limits you to a single product/service. There will usually be a day in the future where you decide to expand on the niche.

Go with an internal page for dedicated product/service sales pages.

Research SEO silos for an overall structured site.

Thanks yukon, that makes sense, in terms of expanding on the niche.

Going with your advice, say you are starting fresh and need to build some good links to your money site (through whatever means - PBN, purchased/rented, comments, etc).

Would you link to your root domain? Or your internal offer page? A mix of both? And believe me I know there's not a one-size-fits-all answer. Links to root domains are good, and links to internal offer pages (with good anchor text) are also good for those pages.

If you were just getting started and could only muster up 7-10 backlinks, would you err on the side of sending more juice to the root domain, or internal pages with the product/service sales?

If I only had 7-10 inbound links I would be pointing them at the internal sales page. Then again all my sites also generate organic backlinks from traffic so there's always going to backlinks pointing at the Home page (eventually). Either way I would build links for whatever page I'm trying to rank. I would also build links for internal supporting pages (eventually) as needed.
