This is because your competitors are targeting the same keyword. Only few websites are appearing before your site in Google's SERPs. I think you've to check your competitor's backlinks and try to get those links (only quality backlinks). Use social networking sites and insert main keyword in your meta tags, meta description, articles, press release etc.

This is poor advice. Social media doesn't help SEO, and meta keywords only help your competition to see what you're targeting. This isn't the purpose of meta description, and Google doesn't use that to rank a site in any case.

You're being extremely generous. I would not describe this link profile as "diverse". There's only a handful of decent links, around a dozen or so if you only count one link per site. The rest are not really worth discussing.

I know it's not too helpful to throw these numbers around, but Majestic's Trust metric is only 3 for 450+ links. That's very poor. It's usually in double digits for much less links.

And yes, as far as I can tell the decent links are not that relevant.

A quick look at the Keyword planner and I'm seeing high competition - and your opponents are probably doing SEO, so yeah, you're having problems now.

As for the problems in your website, all I can say is that you're better off hiring a web design or web dev specialist to help you out.

Here are two sections that help you to improve your keywords position in search results:
1. On page optimization
2. Off page Optimization
1. On page Optimization
a) Optimize your blog post with keyword preferably with the one you want to rank for.
b) Add keywords to post content and media. Place your main keyword within 100 word.
c) Internal Linking : Link to related post
2. Off page Optimization
a) Guest blogging on authority sites
b) Use existing post for video creation, power point presentation, pdf and uploaded them. It will give you ne useful back link.

The answer is very simple, there are many other big website which rank for this keyword. You want to rank for this keyword you have to build more quality links for this keyword.

You can do:
1. Business Listing on Different high authority websites
2. Classified
3. Social Media play very important role.

Yes. I have checked your backlink profile and can see reasonable back links to the site.Some of your competitor web sites are in the first page when having few backlinks.I think most of your links are low quality and not relevant to your website.Please keep in mind quality is important than quantity.Try to create relevant quality back links.

Its within the website and the method you use for the past 6 months. Review your past activity and the current status of the site then analyze the competition because there is also a possibility that lots of your competitors are outranking your site.

What does it mean 'for past 6 month'? Does your website ranked on first page before 6 months?
If yes then you need to find the reason of your ranking down.
Find unreasonable SEO work and remove them that you have done in past.
Analyze content and On-Page of your website/webpages again.

You have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

Ranking has nothing to do with the pages being indexed. Ranking matters, but you should not care about indexing unless there's something wrong.

I would suggest you to check your keyword compitence if the compitence of the keyword is higher than the monthly search then it wont work out. It is a long term 6 months that means that you missed something and most probably you have still pages that are not indexed yet.

They're only high quality if you have high quality backlinks pointed at your "web 2.0" properties.

Start by improving your onpage optimization.

Organize your text better, so you can use related keywords in h2, h3.

Get links from real estate agent sites, from travel agent sites. Or create your own sites to link from (make them real, make them useful).

I know, I know. I'm suggesting a lot of work. If you don't like that, hire someone to do the work.
