hi,
while writing about a post on domain name, i searched one keyword "what is domain name" with avg monthly searches-4400, competiton-medium in "keyword ideas" tab.So i need to know that what do low competition and high competition signify here for a blogger(not advertisers)?
Also,it's a good idea to use different post title and meta title(if necessary),so while doing this, will i have to put my target keyword which is "what is domain name" in the post title as well as the meta title?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

The competition level in the Keyword Planner is for AdWords advertisers only. It has nothing to do with SEO or anything else.

The higher the competition for a keyword, the higher an advertiser's CPC will be for that keyword. Unless you plan on running adwords ads targeting those keywords, it doesn't apply to you.

Keyword planner is no longer the place to look for those answers

you need to start looking at the actual search results and their Domain Authority values

the higher the average of Domain Authority the higher your competition

averages less than 40 are the best to target

keyword planner is useless these days other than generating a keyword list other than that your competition is everyone else looking at the same keywords your looking at

did you look at my sig

at least look at the evidence I posted in my youtube channel you will see multiple case studies showing what kind of keywords are the ones to target and how to determine if you have a chance to even rank

if everyone uses the same metrics all over the world doesn't this increase your competition on who you have to compete against

the answers are in the search results

when the internet was much younger keyword planner worked not anymore too many doing the same thing to achieve the same results
