Hello guys,
Hope you are all doing well.

i have been working on this new affiliate website "3 months old" for the last 4 weeks.

I got it ranked to position 17 for my main keyword in Google. it was ranked till this morning, suddenly FCSTracker is showing that my website is not there anymore for that keyword and for all the other secondary keywords i'm ranked for.

I have changed the theme for the website 2 days ago to improve the conversion, as the website is ranking good.

I have been doing SEO for a while now and i have never faced this thing before.

What do you think guys ? is that normal? do you think this thing happened because i have changed the theme ?

Please let me know your thoughts about my problem.

Thank you all

    1. It's may be due to google dance.
    2. Check if there are any crawl errors in the webmaster tools after install the theme.
    3. Check you google page speed after install the theme
    4. main thing is check your site bounce rate and duration of the site. If bounce rate is increase that was effect to your ranking.

If it is due of the Google Dance, then you don't have to take the tension, it takes some time to get that position back.

Has the new template the same structure as the previous one? If the page you were ranking for a certain keyword doesn´t exits anymore, Google is not goin to choose another one from your site.

Webmaster´s tools sould give you some clue about what is happening.

Create more dofollow backlink (high PR) for your site. It will help to increase SERP as well as visitor.

Google is as fickle-minded as a woman on her mood swings. I do think that it's just Google being inconsistent, if not, then you need to check your Google Webmaster account to see if the themes caused the issue.

Or maybe, it's the FCSTracker that's acting up. Try ranking it manually: go incognito and use a proxy server.

    Best of luck!

Have you changed your web page content? or keywords?

All your web pages are indexed in Search engine?

If all is well, wait for few days, if there is no improvement, you need to check your content, and build quality backlinks to regain ranking.
