Hi Warriors,

Quick question -- did anyone out there purchase the Rank Rocker software by 2Rockstars when it was available? If so, what have been your results?

For those that don't know, Rank Rocker is a software that claims to have "reversed engineered" Google's algorithm and sends out "signals" to Google (and other search engines) that supposedly help a url climb in the rankings and eventually get to page one. They say this happens especially fast with videos.

Before the licenses sold out, I bought an unlimited license for $99 per month to do some experiments. The software is literally "set it and forget it" -- all you do is plug in the url and up to 4 keywords and hit submit. Of course, I was highly skeptical of such claims, but I figured it was worth the $99 risk since if it turned out to be legit it would be a gold mine.

That was about two weeks ago. So far, I've seen mixed results, or maybe I should say delayed results. I've seen some successes taking urls from toward the bottom of page two or top of three and bringing them to page 1 of Google, and these were for good keywords like "Lawyer Minneapolis" and "Minneapolis MN Roofing Contractor." For others, I've seen slow progress and I've had zero success with video ranking as they claimed.

They do say this software won't "turn garbage into gold" and you should already have good on-page SEO, so that could explain some of the mixed results. But I'm still rather disappointed in the lack of video rankings as those seemed to be pretty well optimized.

Anyway, trying to decide if it's worth keeping this software and if so the best way to monetize it. If anyone else out there has used it, I'd be interested in hearing your results.

Thanks much!!

  • Since I've been using them, my rankings have gone down. As such, I cancelled the service.
