Google takes a lot of time to Index my page.

Hi;

I have been running a website about gaming reviews and news for 3 yeas. I know it´s difficult to rank in this sector but google does not index my new posts until more than a week after the post is published. The posts are in the sitemap and I have the sitemap in webmaster tools. The real problem is that when I have news, they are not really news when they appear on google because they are a week old... any tip on how can I improve this?

Thanks

    Seems like google bot only finds your news link during its regular re-crawling period, which seems like a week or so for your website. Try syndicating such new links on social media etc. for faster indexing.

    In other words, make sure you proactively get the googlebot to notice your link and crawl/index it, and not the other way around.

      Thanks for your reply. The links are posted into google+, facebook and twitter when posts are published but google does not index the pages. In the sitemap I also mark to check every hour the homepage so google finds new pages, but no way.

      Sometimes when searching for my posts a week later, google shows the little text I shared on the facebook page, but there´s no link at all indexed to the original large post I wrote in my site. Sometimes it takes more than 2 weeks to appear.

    Are you sure the new pages aren't being indexed, did you do a site:domain.com/exact-internal-page-url search on Google?

    You could also do a site:domain search & then change the search results page date filter for the last week to see which pages have been recently indexed.

    As per my experience share the page on Google + and get some +1's.. It would be indexed immediately..

    Just try once and get back to me..

    I have the same problem in getting my comprehensive and unique review posts of products indexed, yet I see competitors writing one line crappy reviews getting indexed right away when they post on Wordpress.com. So now I am going to start sharing part of my reviews on sites created on Wordpress.com with a link back to my main site.

    I am also having the same problem with my YouTube video reviews. Any ideas anyone?
