Please can you please advice me on how to handle this situation.
I spend sleepless nights writing unique articles for my website and when I tried to find out in they are already visible on google, I was embarrassed with what I found.

When I typed the keyword I was optimizing for, a different website appears on top, with my exact article.

How do I handle such a situation.

I just noticed it is a website that was recently created, and the owner does not care despite all warnings and threads made.

Unfortunately it's business as usual. "Originality" or "uniqueness" aren't really factors, and Google doesn't keep track on who wrote what. The site that Google sees as more authoritative probably wins in this competition.

You could try to report the site to Google for the spam that it is. You could try to send a DMCA notice to the site owner, his server hotel, and Google. It's not certain that any of these will result in anything.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
