2015 SEO Changes

I have not really done SEO since early 2014, and I didn't have too great of a job.

Now I'm looking to rank a blog for the IM niche, maybe for some long tail keywords, is there a up to date guide I should follow?

    When comparing to 2014 there is not a big change in SEO field. One main thing is you shold concentrate on high quality contents to get backlinks rather than Black hat technique .

      The content is still the most important thing not only since 2014, but maybe since 4-5 more years, so I should disagree with your comment. I would say that there isn't ANY change in SEO comparing to last year!

    You should curate unique content for your blog. And when you create backlinks better to post to high PR which are do follow.

    Try to create some unique and interesting content that will benefit your targeted users then Google will consider your blog as trusted and hub of information then offer it to the right users.

    Well, it's really a great idea but make sure that the content should be unique and use an appropriate long-tail and use high PR site which really worth it.

    The biggest difference between the era before 2014 and now is that the following are given even more importance:
    - Relevance of your referring domains and links to your website
    - Diversity of these links
    - Citations (for local SEO)
