Usually when you use a PR checking website it's going to lookup whatever you put in. If you put in the non-www version then it will lookup the non-www version. If you put the www-version in then it will lookup the www-version.

First, I'd make sure you set everything up so the non-www is redirecting to the www version.. This will make sure any link juice the non-www version had before will now get passed over to the www-version (Wordpress will do this automatically if you change it)

If you do what is listed above and then lookup the non-www version, it will go to look that page up, but since it's redirected to the www-version it would probably come back and display whatever PR the www-version has.

Why would you even consider PR as a trust factor?

That metric is like 2 years old. Since than the website might have undergone drastic changes. You should look into TF in Majestic and set up your website on www or non www depending on where the most links are pointed at.

Yeah, before changing non www to www, make sure most of the backlinks are pointed to www version of the website else it would be wise to leave it like this.
