HELP - keyword planning for estate agent

Hi,

I am doing some keyword research for a local estate agent, but am not sure which country to target when looking for keyword search volumes.

I can pick the country the agent is in, but then they will have customers looking for other countries such as the UK, France, Germany etc.

Which is the best country to target when doing keyword planning for this type of business, or should I research keyword volumes for every single country??

    First, select the country that your business is most needed (analyze each potential countries). This will enable you to determine the behavior of each country when it comes to your type of business and how to reach them effectively.

    Your client is in a better position to answer that.

    And if you can't find any good market from his preferred location then am afraid you have to let go.

    It depends upon you which country to choose and from where you want more customers. You can target those areas which can be your nearby or you can target audience globally as well. Check Google Adword keyword planner for the same. You will get to know the search volume for every query entered by you and you will get keyword suggestions as well.

      If people are looking to buy a house in Luxemburg and they live in Luxemburg, you reach them by targeting Luxemburg.

      If people want to buy a house in Luxemburg and they don't live in Luxemburg, you reach them by targeting Luxemburg and the country they're in when they search...

      Some locations attract more Romanians than Spaniards... If you don't know, ask your agent where, in his/her experience, they're coming from... If nobody knows, pick the one you think it's the most likely candidate and pay attention to analytics...
