Just seen this company for the first time, they are included in the hosting plan for a client website. I would like to know if anybody has experience with them. Are they worth a try?

They have link building tools and other SEO offers, thought I should ask here before doing any business with them.

TIA

I suggest to use any SEO services with only white hat SEO (manual link-building no tools) to keep your site safe from Google updates.

Interesting that everyone assumes Attractas is blackhat and quickly tell you a blank statemente like "use only white hat SEO".

I seem to recall they were in the cpanel of Hostgator a long time ago and I "signed up" with them to try them out.

As it was the free part of the service basically what they did was send your link to different engines (Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc) for indexing and then did ping to various pinging sites (all very whitehat in my opinion, thus rendering every single previous comment mostly useless).

The free service plus the traffic generated from my signatur eon the forum took the site form 0 to 14k visits a year. Not great but for a free service something is something.

Nowadays you can do better than most whitehat automated services by simply setting up good web 2.0 accounts for your site and hit social media for traffic and outreach for whitehat links. It is a lot of work but hey, if you think Maintaining and promoting a website is easy you are in for a shock.

Check if the theme of your website is something that would benefit form a presence in Reddit. If you are lucky enough to get the Reddit crowd attention you'll get a ton of traffic from there. Then it is a matter of reaching out to people who might have w ebsite in your niche and see if you can collaborate.

      Hope this helps.
