You need to reduce the webpage loading time using code & image optimization.

Use fast loading neat and clean theme, then optimize image. If it's WordPress site then use W3 Total cache plugin.

Most of the time we use removal request to remove those URLs which is already removed from your website, but still showing in search results.

There is no effect of using removal request for increasing speed of the website. For the increasing speed of the website you have to use less about of plugin and my advice is, you must use code instead of the plugin.

Why not use mod_rewrite, or similar technology, to redirect to the non-secure site if that's what you really want to do? Then offer a link to the secure version for those who want to be on secure by default....
