Rankings start to drop down slowly :(

I've already posted before but did not really get help except for a negative feed back so trying it once more. I've made a site for low-competition niche. On-page SEO is well optimized. Off-page SEO is all about back links I've made so far. As google indexes my site, i loose rankings. I don't know what went wrong. Can anybody help me?

    Hi Lauren7,

    What type of sites are linking to your site? Are they relative to your niche? Sometimes people have sites linking to their sites but don't have relative sites which Google doesn't like to see. Also what are the metrics of the sites in your backlink profile? You should try to get some backlinks that have high PA and DA.

    Looks like you need a bit of activity. List your site here for help and suggestions. Or list why you prefer not to reveal the name. look into IFTTT and video submissions on fiverr write and blast some new material/info online to serve as bridges back to your offering. Remember, you are dealing with interest and attention, and they breath. Need to activate the lungs for breathing. In and Out.

    Backlinks shown in GOOGLE webmaster tools:
    Tumblr (web 2.0) - 250 links and 1000 more to be indexed.
    Pinterest: 82 links few more to be indexed.
    Reddit: 55 links
    few forums: 90 links
    google - yahoo: 20 links
    blogspot: 1 link
    related blog comments: 10 or so links
    Visualize: 6 links
    By negative you mean you don't like realistic answers.

    Odds are with those types of links are dropping off daily, therefore it's doubtful you actually have a link profile that ranks pages. Check your link profile, are the backlinks that matter live today?

      This forum is less about feeling good and singing kumbaya. SEO is a technical process. If you get "negative feedback" because your methods are poor no amount of positive thinking is going to solve that.

      Indeed, you need decent links. Usually those from social media are nofollow, which means they're not ranking your site. Yes, it's pretty hard to get links which is why people resort to buying them.

      Apart from that this is the worst kind of request. You've only told us that your niche is not competitive according to you. What are we supposed to derive from this?

        In a low competition niche why are you even bothering with backlinks? its apparent you are no good at that. its also apparent that your on-page seo aint that good either.. or maybe your on-page is decent and you are skipping the whole thing up with your back linking.

        Internal linking and better than decent keyword selection is probably all you would need to compete in "Low Competition" spend more time learning how to build the juice from within your site..and worry less about this linking crap that most people have no clue what they are doing. ( the only thing you are doing is putting up a red flag and telling penguin "HEY!!!! IM OVER HERE!!!!"

        Get the basics down, get them working, THEN focus on the next step... You probably have no clue if your on-page is any good because you are so quick to stomp all over it with sub par link building that sends your ranking in the first last syndrome.. its there.. its not... its there... its not.. oooh its dropped.. its getting lower...
