What happens if I built links to a www.Mysite, when site is just http://mysite?

I have someone in my company who built links to our site, using www.mysite.com (just example), but our site is only http://mysite.com, without the www.

Will I still get credit from these links? When you click on it, it still leads to my page?

Thanks!
#built #http or or mysite #links #site #wwwmysite

We can't say if you've got redirects, but that should be trivial for you to test. It's better to use the correct address, but it's not that big of a deal.

Yes if the links get redirected, preferably with 301 redirect.

Yes, but be sure to change your .htaccess file and do a 301 redirection from www to non-www or vice versa. This is the only way for the link juice to flow to your exact website!

Agree with this one. Google consider the non www and www as different URL, so make sure you have a 301 redirect from with www to non www URL.
