Regarding Competitor Ranking Over My Site

Can someone explain how a site like Los Angeles DUI Lawyer- Aggressive DUI and DMV Attorney. can rank for such competitive keyword without any links and the content isn't so great either?

    Why don't you share your site as well? SEO is a relative thing, they can rank well better than yours if your website is worse than theirs. That way we can analyze more accurately.

    Contrary to popular belief, content is not 'a magical bullet' to SEO success as many people wrongly preach. 'Good' content is only 1 part of SEO and by itself is completely useless... and this is an entirely different topic so I shan't post about content on here.

    Website ranks based on Google's perceived algorithm which is over 200 factors.

    What this means is that you can't really tell the main reason a website is ranking higher than yours.

    I have seen similar,infact lots of similar cases. But the consolation is that their ranking doesn't last.

    So my advice,keep going the right path.

    He has a few links from other Los Angeles attorney sites... They may own all of those other sites. But they're getting links from other attorneys in LA.

    Referrals from other attorneys are great..

    Plus, he's/she /they have done a good job with the on-page.

    Plus, the links you find in link chekers are not all the links they have.

    Their site has some good powerful backlinks which may help with their rankings above you.
    They also have some great on-page SEO. You should look into getting some powerful backlinks as well in order to compete for the top spots in Google.
