Success w/ Natural SE Traffic Alone

Hi.

I wanted to ask out there if anyone has created a website that receives traffic from SE's and no other sources based on directly from on-site content and optimization. No submitting to article directories, social bookmarks, forums, link directories, etc.....
And if yes how consistent is the trend(increasing,decreasing, stays the same). Thanks.

    Yes, almost all of my traffic comes from the search engines. But of course in order
    to get them there I had to article market for backlinks (my preferred choice).

      So you used article marketing alone to get your SE traffic? Do you have any sites or pages that naturally got picked up due to just the content added to your site/page?

    Yes, I have that experient and still running now... almost 95% of traffic just from google. Tech Geek look at the traffic details at the right sidebar.. I never promoted this site but other people are linking back especially that big dslreport forum... daily average visits is around 200 with almost 190 from google... I have no time promoting it though but adsense clicks are pretty rewarding for such targetted niche.

      Thanks for that. I too have been trying some stuff out with basically adding ust adding the content I would normally submit to article directories directly to the website and have noticed a fair bit of SE traffic. Theres no leverage in my site like EzineArticles, Buzzle, etc... offer but they are coming in for the targeted kw's.

    I have a site that targets misspelled keywords. all i did was digg it and move on. It gets front page google listings and traffic from nothing more then the content i wrote.

    My mortgage site also gets about 350 a day from SE traffic alone and another 50 from articles.

    Most of my traffic comes from SEs as well. I have used some social bookmarking, directories, etc. for backlinks, but I get very little actual traffic from those sources.
