How will Google's Alphabet Affect Your SEO/SEM//PPC?

Based on today's news (https://abc.xyz/), Google is now part of a larger organization in which:
1. "Alphabet Inc. will replace Google Inc. as the publicly-traded entity."
2. The "newer Google is a bit slimmed down".
3. According to Google Announces 'Alphabet,' Its New Parent Company, the new CEO is "the most powerful man in mobile."
I once asked where the heck Google was going with its current mobile obsession, and I think this just answered that question.
So my new question is how will you respond as someone working (perhaps even thriving) in the SEO/SEM/PPC biz. Because if it isn't yet clear to you, Google, the search phenomenon and it's tremendous potential, has evidently reached its peak. And it looks as if it will be phased out within the next several years if not sooner.
