Anyone know of any REPUTABLE performance based SEO companies?

Does anyone know of any reputable performance based SEO companies that guarantee they will deliver the results you are paying for within a certain period of time, or you get a full refund? Or better yet, you don't pay unless they deliver? Is there anyone on here that has had some experience with this that can weigh in? I am looking to hire an SEO company to rank some of my webpages in one of the top four spots on Google for some relatively competitive search terms nationwide, not locally. Thanks.

    Actually Nation wide keywords are short & take some time to rank in search engines that's why everyone use long tail keywords for their site first.

      Not short but nationwide keywords, nonetheless.

      And, people use long tail keywords because short tail are too general, don't get you sales.

      Someone Googling the keyword insurance could be looking up the history of auto insurance in Jamaica. Wouldn't help you if you were selling only life insurance in Northeastern US and California, would it?

    The best way to do that is via some sort've affiliate program or lead gen program. This way you are paying them for their results.

    But it's gonna be slow going that way. I'd encourage you to first spend some money on ads to determine what ad copy and keywords convert best for you and then hire someone who has a long track record who you can trust to rank you.

    Most the good SEO companies will not offer a guarantee of rankings. Simply because you can't guarantee. The guys who are desparate enough for clients to work on the model you have suggested are also likely to permanently damage your site with bad SEO practices.

    Any reputable SEO company does not work on a performance base payment, they may get a retainer and after get a performance based payment, but not right out of the bat, this is because most of the people who are looking for this type of arrangements are plain scammers or people with unrealistic goals and non existent budget.

    There are legitimate SEOs that work on a performance basis, but not necessarily based on specific rankings which no one can guarantee.

    For example, we can guarantee performance metrics such as increasing leads by X amount in X days or increasing number of site visitors by X amount in X days for our SEO clients. We also do comprehensive competition analysis, a detailed SEO plan and require a realistic retainer. It only works if you know your conversion rate and profit margins for the website so that you'll know exactly how much your profits will increased based on increases in traffic.

      This is so true.

      The problem with a lot of people looking for performance-based SEO is that they don't know their conversions well. And don't have processes in place to upsell, retain clients, etc. Or, they just don't track/ or know the life time value of clients.

    SEO is dead brother... People still do it, but I wouldn't focus too much on it...

    Focus on your copy instead and on forming strategic alliances.

    Keep in mind that a lot of people who rank really high have either:

    1) Been around for a long time...

    2) Have a ton of cash to drop on traffic....

    3) They have affiliates Drive traffic to their site.

    4) Or They have a huge list themselves...

    5) OR... MAGIC!

      Everyone please disregard this post. It is 100% incorrect. As far as performance based seo.... good luck with that, not trying to sound mean but i wouldn't work for free and get a client ranked without some kind of deposit...

          Hey! SEO is not dead
          It is the method that are being used by other SEO Experts Wannabe's is really dead but still using their old link scheming techniques
          So before dealing with the SEO company check their background such as achievements or proven records, reviews from the old clients, recommendations from trusted sources (if any).

          It is not quite dead, but it is very weak now, kind of like in the old days, SEO was The Incredible Hulk... Now days it is just Bruce Banner. Bruce can still do stuff like shoot you with gamma rays, but he can no longer SMASH!!!! an entire city.
