Use social media. How? What tags do you use? What twitter pages can you target in your tweet or what facebook pages can you target or share with in your post? You can't just make a post or tweet and people will come...

Irresistible headlines. Elaborate please. What makes a headline "Irresistible"?

Pay Attention to On-Page SEO. Elaborate please. Pay more attention to how long your page content is? Pay attention to headers? Number of times keywords are mentioned?

Target Long-Tail Keywords. How do you know what long-tail keywords to target?

Start Guest Blogging. How? What blogs to target? How do you find those blogs? How do you know if a blog is worth reaching out to?

Post Content to LinkedIn. Again, posting on LinkedIn won't do the trick. Need to more than just post.



I see a lot of people posting up list of things to do but not really explaining HOW to do things. I know people don'e like to spoonfeed but actionable advice and tips would really help.

Video marketing will be the best way to get more traffic to your site.
Just create a video and upload in youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion etc.

First do some keyword research according to your business or website then do off page seo techniques targeting your keyword.Do Blogging,Social bookmarking,forum posting.Hope it will increase traffic to your website.

Social bookmarking, classified, and directory submissions in low quality sites is not recommended to get traffic but providing interesting and engaging content for the targeted audience will do as well as to share it in social media sites.

There are many ways to increase traffic on the website:
1. On-page optimization: First you need to set-up On-page optimization with latest algorithm and increase quality of the website
2. Off-page optimization: You need to create high quality, relevant and natural back links for you website from relevant and high PR web directories
3. Social media marketing: You can promote your business and brand through social media sites and get more awareness about your business and increase online traffic.
4. PPC: This is a paid process you need need to set-up a campaign on the Google and facebook then start that and get right traffic instantly on the website and generate leads.

There is no substitute for content on your main site. I've never understood people spending time and money on their social media pages, when they could drive traffic straight to their site, just doesn't make sense.

YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest should be subsidiary activities, your main site is what counts.

Example. I went from being a Baker to being a Recruitment Consultant in London, UK. How did I make the jump? I rang up companies and asked to speak to someone in HR. Then my dad asked me:

"What do you want?"

I responded

"I want a job as a recruitment consultant"

He then said,

"So why not ask for a job?"

So my phone calls changed from "Can I speak to someone in HR" to "I would like a job with your company, who do I need to speak to?"

Then next 3 phone calls, I had 3 job offers! I started as a resourcer, which I loved, and then went on to becoming a consultant, which I hated, so I went back to being a resourcer... earning just as much money.

I don't want 100,000 likes on FB or 20,000 thumbs up on YouTube, I want someone to buy my artwork, and so that's what I work on. The rest quite frankly, is a massive distraction.

Social media marketing does work to bring you more traffic. However allot of traffic is useless if it isn't targeted to your audience. If I can share a tip for social media use hash tags and tags with every post but use them in centances and do not over use them.
