Who to hire for optimization and local seo?

In need of coding, keywork research and local seo optimization to get a brand new site up and running in a small local marketplace

Not terribly interested in the $400/month programs that go on and on and on...I know that defeats the whole "stay home and work in your pj's" theory for seo but I'm on a budget

    Local SEO doesn't necessarily require a lengthy ongoing contract, just a good plan and benchmarks for performance. Cost is going to depend on the competition in your area. Local keywords can be VERY competitive (think locksmiths).
