Hello guys, I noted a drop in the SEO traffic in the last weeks in one of my sites, before 1800 visitants now 1200 per day, my kws dropped a little bit in the SERPs too.

So I visited GW, and I´m receiving thousands of these type of backlinks:

hxxp://www.infosourcenet.com/tag/emagrece-quantos
hxxp://www.badcityblues.com/tag/emagrecimento-voxx

I dont know what is these sites, for example, if you visit hxxp://www.infosourcenet.com/tag/emagrece-quantos, you will see the same page that in hxxp://www.infosourcenet.com/.

I dont know if this is spam created by a competitor. Do you know what is this type of site and if is harmful to my SEO? I'm thinking to forward these backlinks to disavow tools.

Now about bookmarking sites, what do you think about sites like savenkeep.com and scoop.it? I´m receiving douzens of backlinks of these sites too.

If the site looks weird to you, disavow it.

Someone might have tried to bring you down by putting a link on a malicious/spammy site that links to your site.

There's a lot of claims that bookmarking helps drive traffic to your site, which in turns contributes to ranking indirectly. Just look at the site and see if it looks good. Do some research on the sites. It's very easy to see if the backlinks or bookmark site is good or not.

    BIG RED FLAG.

I checked the sites, and they reek of spam and unscrupulous content. I'm not going to elaborate, but I think it's a black hat SEO attempt or something like that. Yes, it's harmful - the same thing happened to a friend of mine. He received thousands of backlinks by the thousands a few years ago which were in porn, Indian, and Pakistani sites. It was unfortunate, and he couldn't do anything about it.

And if I were you, don't think of disavowing these links. DO IT NOW.

Is an SEO company working for you right now? Scoop.it and Savenkeep.com are social bookmarking sites, so if you have an SEO company, they might be the ones responsible for it. It's an old tactic though...

Guys do you have any idea on the process of disavowing these bad links?
Is there estimated time? What will be the process to start this kind of method?

I'm wondering its easy to suggest disavowing bad links but on how to implement this kind of method and does it really require in every affected websites.

And here I thought disavowing is common knowledge.

And since you're smart, could you please elaborate and answer OP's query rather than questioning our suggestions?

        Otherwise, you're not being helpful.

In trust sometimes I hire some guy on Seoclerks to increase the variety of my links, generally I search a lot before hire a guy, but in that specif case, 1 year ago, when I was starting with SEO, I hired a product like "receive 800 bookmarking links", something that I usually hire for tier 3 now, and in that case was for tier 1.

The result is that until now GW is recognizing some bookmarking links, like these:

      2015-06-09
      hxxp://events.workbookmarks.com/user.php?page=32&login=mmauricio23&view=upvoted

      2015-06-06
      hxxp://voyage.bookmarkingwire.com/user.php?page=293&login=aalphonso81&view=published

      2015-06-06
      hxxp://health.bookmarkact.com/user.php?page=297&login=flbrooks41&view=history

Some of the links are nofollow (not the above links), I think its not a big problem, the really problem is the spammy links, that I already sent to disavow tools.

But what do you think about these bookmarking links? If was your site, would you send to disavow?

    Read: https://support.google.com/webmaster.../2648487?hl=en

I have no idea since I have never disavowed a link before........sadly. I consider myself a bit of a disgrace to the SEO world because of that lol but then again I know there are others who have also never disavowed before. But from what I've seen, its up to google. You send in a request and you have to wait for google to to cut the relationship between your site and the backlinking site. There might be a tool out there but not sure of the name. You could try requesting for the link to be removed prior to disavowing but that might take a while.

Posted a comment here, and realized it was all wrong. My reading comprehension failed miserably. Moar coffee...

I'd also suggest using the disavow tool ASAP. You're telling Google that you don't know what's this about, or that you don't want those links to be taken in account. There's a crowd who thinks the whole tool is some sort of ploy from Google's part, but there's not that much you can do apart from disavow.

I think someone might be scraping the content to use it as a platform for some sort of spam campaign. There's an aggressive popup on both pages. The spammer might not just care where the backlinks point, and OP happened to have a piece of content that fits their purposes.
    Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
