Backlinks time to to make affect

Hello

How long does it take for backlinks to make an affect on your website from being indexed?

For example If I created a a high quality backlink to my website and it gets indexed today, should I see rank improvement today? or over the next couple of days will it have affect

    It doesnt seem to be constant. Sometimes its taken 2 months other times 3 weeks... regardless of wheather i index it, ping it etc etc.

    It's not just the backlink that matters.

    The existing SERP competition might be stronger than you think it is or also building links at the same time.

      Yeah I'm just saying though, should affect happen right away or does it take a couple of days for juice to kick in?

      I understand I might not get increase due to competition and stuff

      I was just wondering if link juice gets passes as soon as it's indexed.. or if it still takes a couple of days

        I actually lol'd at the 15-30 days figure. How did this random dude come to this conclusion? Who knows! Maybe he's reading the minds of Google's search engineers.

        Most users here are pointing pointless backlinks to their site, and the answer just might be "never". I find it unlikely that you'd see any conclusive result for any single link. It's just one of the factors, and usually your "strong" links aren't as great as you think.

        Google isn't going to reindex every single backlink page on the net using the same schedule.

    It takes about 15-30 Days. Google has started delaying any quick increase in rankings when it comes to backlinks. It will release your rankings when you are sleeping and have no idea why your rankings jumped suddenly ! haha

    It also depends the type of backlinks,Quality and organic look.

    Anyway after you link pbn or use contexual backlinks it'll take 2weeks at least to move ,to change serp. But google doesnt like to increase change quickly. So is better to take rest and make google increase your website.
