Random Serp Position

Hello Warriors, i'm facing a very weird problem with my website. Few of my webpages, one day they rank 1 and after 3-4 days they are not even in the top 100.

example: koproskyla.com/star-channel-greece - ranking keyword for this page is "star tv live".

Anybody had this issue before? What it cause this problem and how can i fix this?

        If you're logged in to Google they try to serve sites that you seem to like. Your own web properties are probably way higher than in real search results.

        At least try incognito/private browser window.

          I always use incognito browser window when i check my rankings, also the problem appear in webmasters, analytics and other tools i use like proranktracker and semalt.

            You have no idea how google works.

            First of all, who cares about incognito search?
            Real people do not search like that.

            FYI: Incognito does not deliver completely nonpersonalized results.

            There was an old trick using &pws=0

            But I have heard nobody talk about that in quite a while.

    Either the Google "dance" or personalized SERPs.

    As said my Netty, go incognito. If you've done that and it still doesn't work, use a proxy or a different computer.

    Are you targeting an international audience or Greece alone? If it's the latter, be sure you're using Google Greece (localized search).

      I m targeting international audience. At my first post i didn't mention that i check on google.gr for the specific keyword. Also i tried with vpn proxy (hola), different computer and browser.

      It started before 3-4 months ago. For 1 week (random days) i m on the 1 page and 1 position and the other 3 weeks of the month im not even in top 100. The same time my competitors stuck on the 1 page for long time.

      is possible has to do with the website theme,plugins or server configuration or something that is not has to do with seo?

        The root cause might be a totally different thing. It could be a site issue (is your website mobile-compatible?). I don't see any problems with the design. I kinda like it actually, though it's quite cramped. I'm pretty sure you used Wordpress.


        Otherwise, check the backlinks pointing to your website. I'm pretty sure there are tools you can use (ask around the forum) and if you see that there are unscrupulous links, disavow them.
