Who here still utilizes private blog networks to gain rankings?

Any results? Any outsourcing recommendations if so, etc.

I am optimizing four sites in a very competitive market and have hundreds of keywords almost ranking on first page..but need to get over the hump.

I would not really recommend outsourcing for that. You'll end up on public networks, not private ones. Best to build your own.

It is often said that if you are having trouble getting from page 2 to page 1, PBNs can really help. But, you have to know how to buy the domain and what domains are good, where to host, what anchor text to use in your links. So be sure to get some good training on that before you start. It is time and money to put PBN together, so don't waste it.

      Yea..

Funny thing is I have never used PBN networks.

Are there any guides anywhere recommended? Pay or free would help out.

      Thanks

Quality PBN's do work. Don't take short cuts. That is it.

I do the manual work from testing expired domains looking at their content and link history.

Then i install wordpress and software to manage them into a "network" of specific niche. I have spinners to make sure there is unique content and LSI, backlinks variations to build links from the PBNs.

The link juice is powerful and can help you kick away competition

Just to let you know, spinning content is a great way to throw away domains. Now if you don't care about your network getting deindexed, which if you are using spinners it will at some point, then it is fine.

Generally, anyone using content spinners is putting that content on free sites (Web 2.0 properties) that they do not care about.

There is no way you want to use it on a private network you have invested in and want to last.

          Yea..I figured.

I just did not know if he had some sort of highly intelligent spinner I did not know about. I would just outsource the content.

          Anyway,

How many hig pr domains would normally be ok for a PBN? Say ten high PR and high page authority links with content all cycling through each other?

I was wondering about this too!

I came across screw the 9 to 5 (jack & jill stanton) and they're entire strategy is based on PBNs. A bit of backlinking, but mostly PBN.

Does my PBN have to be in my niche, or will I be able to boost ranking for websites that are not directly related to my PBN?

    Hi,

I do still use PBNs a great deal. I find that they are a great way to boost your rankings.

There are a few places you can look at. I offer this service online and I am currently the number one seller on Market-Source for my PBNs. You can get a completely done for you PBN in 24hours. All you would need to do is add you own links.

There are also a few other services:

    thehoth.com
    lightningRank.com

Please let me know if you have any questions.

PBN work even better than before, however, you need to be careful otherwise you will end up with your whole network being de-indexed.
Outsourcing, you can get a VA do that for you but you need to be part of the process to avoid any loopholes and footprints.

Probably best to learn how to do the research on your own.

It is not only the PBN domains themselves you should be concerned about but also how to host them in order not to leave any footprints for G.

If you mean outsourcing PBN to Public Networks, avoid all costs. Better create your own where you can outsource to a VA to do it for you supposing you train him or her on the best practices to avoid Google radar.
