I came through from recent article that Google Controls 65% Of Search, Bing 33% and so on for yahoo, yandex etc. Should we more focus on other search engine, rather on Google only? I am asking this for search engine marketing point of view.

If you can rank well on google, bing, and yahoo, you'll definitely rank well on the other TINY search engines.

Practically taking care of Google and bing is enough because i have checked that sometimes your website rank for a particular kwd at 1st page of google and not in top100 of Bing. I mean for that is there is a big difference in Google and Bing's algorithm to rank sites so learn and manipulate Google and Bing algo is enough.

When you start a thread with false "facts," like
Google Controls 65% Of Search, Bing 33%,
what can you expect except nonsense replies as above?

In many parts of the world, google controls anywhere from
      0-100% of search.

Bing is a different animal. It's hardly even a search engine.
It's like saying that a Yugo is a sports car.

If the vast majority of the free world, and I only give rip about
that part of the world, why would I concentrate on a few crumbs?

Of course we can end this nonsense with logic. If you do good
things that google likes, you do good things that they all like,
give or take a few meaningless tweaks.

Aw gee Wally, I just wrote a book but I am not going to put it on amazon
on account a they only control only 65%.

Google dominates the search market. So, if your site is capable of getting ranking in Google than it will definitely get ranks in other search engines.

Those stats are according to comScore, and they're only for US market as was pointed out. Also, the Bing score is for both Bing and Yahoo for obvious reasons. It's not "so on for Yahoo...", they're already in that figure. Also note how the stats are just for one month? I'm sure it gives you some indication, but it's in no way representative.

According to some other stats Google has 90%+ of Germany, a huge market in Europe. They've at least been way above 80% in Brazil.

According to one source Baidu has 80% of China. Yeah, I just called Germany "huge".

According to Wikipedia Yandex has 60% of the search market in Russia, and they're strong in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

On the other hand, Google is really strong in India.

Really depends on what and who you're trying to target. I know companies that need to sell to Russians, so obviously they're very interested in Yandex.

No. Where did you get this snippet of wisdom? It's possible that your page ranks high in Google, but is nowhere to be seen in Bing. Just as an example. Maybe in fair world the site should rank in every search there is, but the algorithms are different.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?
