Hi people,

I have this website that has good authority DA49 PA52 and a lot of powerful backlinks.
I was thinking to rank pages for different languages, mainly, Spanish, French & English.

I'm not sure if this is doable, i was thinking to make the pages look like that:

mysite.com/spanish/Targeted-Keyword
mysite.com/french/Targeted-Keyword

Please let me know what do you think ? is it possible ?

Your help would be much appreciated.

I suggest you to create a separate landing page for each language.

You can use subdomain for each language.

Using the subdomain of each langauge you can rank one site for different languages. So to sum it up, yes its possible.

Quite a few ridiculous answers above, from translation to
      subdomains.

The internet runs on English. The internet that people can
      target, that is.

When you start thinking about other languages, remember
      that tip above.

Other countries censor the internet. You can't just make a site
in another language and think it's going to rank.

I know most of you DO NOT stay up on things, as is evident above,
but wikipedia was banned in Russia until they redid certain pages,
in Russian, to comply with what Putin deems they should.

Russians do not see the same things, word for word, picture for
picture, that a person in Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela,
      Brazil, China, etc. etc. etc....................

It is not even worth doing unless you are someone like wikipedia.

Far better to do just one page...because......everyone has webpage
translators for free available to them. Has nothing to do with anything
      on your end.

I make adsense from lots of countries that are not targeted for their
language. All my pages are in English.

Remember, that the rest of the world does a ton of things in English.

This is different than targeting people in countries that you actually
can target. Then server location is most important.

You can't target every country and language, and you should not
even try. Unless you have the money and website that needs it.

Simply translating a webpage and thinking it's going to rank in
some other language is just a silly idea.

But silliness abounds here. People just have no clue as to how
      the internet works.

Some people were just slightly misguided when talking about subdomains, but you took it a few steps further. If you browse around just a bit you're going to see a website that has different languages under the same site. It's not only possible, but feasible and often pretty easy to do.

OP, just ignore these one-line bots. You can probably make each of those different "directory" sites behave like a site on it's own, and submit each of them to Google WMT. Then you can set the targeting from that side in addition to having the lang codes and other on-page stuff.

Those people might be there to laugh to your "translations". They're getting better, but they're still often pretty comical, and too often completely reverse the meaning of the original.

There's a reason why real companies tend to contract human translators.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

  • Why don't you place a language translator on your site by which your readers can automatically turn the page language which they want.
