Hi, I understand the basic concept behind building a private blog network and pointing the links to a money site.I'm looking for a good guide that will explain the finer points of the process. Does anyone have a good resource in mind?

hi , here is some tips
    Main Points:
*Use many diverse IPs and hosting accounts
*Use different themes, category structures, permalinks, and www. vs root
*Vary the extensions! .com, .net, .info, .org, .etc
*Use different software, not just WordPress!! Jcow, Elgg, Dolphin, Media Wiki, Moin Moin, Wikka Wiki, Tikki Wiki, to name a few.
*Use different domain registrars with some private registrations and some with old owner's information. Godaddy, namecheap, etc. some private and some with joe schmoe.
*Build some good links to each site.

Good points, but i would like to mention: It doesn't matter if you only use Wordpress. Belive me i got a blog network with more as 200 domains all running on WP. I use Argo content generator to create and manage the network and it works very well to promote my sites. There are millions of Wordpress blogs on the Web. Google doesn't give more value to one or the other CMS, it treats them all the same. While it is a good idea to mix properties, many WP blogs won't harm. So when you want to start your first PBN, you might aswell start with WP sites as its easy to manage and then add more properties later. Another good thing is the blogs even drive organic traffic themselfs that i monetize with CPA offers and you should too, just a tip ;-)

Mike Friedman has a site called Spartan Marketing Academy, and the subscription includes such a course. I'm in no way affiliated with that site, just the one that comes to mind first.
    Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

If you are not sure about building a PBN, then best approach would be to hire a pro.
Alot of money and resources goes into building an effective PBN. A slight error or footprints from your side can lead to all the efforts down the drain.
