Hello Guys,

As everyone told that if website is new then be careful and don't be link building too fast. A small handful of HIGH quality links and some social media marketing is all you need at most until you hit 6 months IMO. But i saw that 5 year ago Pinterest was new website and within week thousands of links (internal and external links) were submitted in thousands of forums and other websites. Then why google not banned that site. At that time Pinterest was also new site and had not any authority.

Because there is no such thing as building backlinks too fast.

There is building backlinks, stopping with backlink building and not building backlinks.

If you're getting high quality links there's no reason to be ashamed or afraid about it. Since you're comparing your efforts to Pinterest I guess you're talking about really rapid organic growth? Sites take off all the time, and Google knows that better than you or I.

Also, we might not actually know if Pinterest has had trouble with the big G. If someone is being cooperative, and doing what Google asks there's no reason for Google to make a big fuss about it. Some prominent sites and brands have gotten slapped very publicly, but they usually ran some kind of nasty link scheme or other stuff like that.
For example i am running entertainment related website and submitting link of my website in related entertainment site, it doesn't matter how many links submitted daily (Not in spam sites. I am talking about Best entertainment websites and also in best entertainment forums E.G blu-ray.com ) Will this help my site or will ban my site???

Those are not the only options. The links will probably do nothing at all, or have very modest positive effect that you can't even measure.

It's like asking "If I eat this bread, will it cure me of all ills or kill me?" No, that's just a piece of bread. Probably won't even fill your stomach.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

        No, it doesn't.

You could be submitting 10 a day and Google finds them all on day 30. Or you could be submitting 1000 in one second and Google could be finding 2 a day.

If you knew when Google finds links, you could co-ordinate. But you don't. Plus, as said before, there's no reason to do it.

when backlinks increase NATURALLY, google won't ban IMHO. But when websites try to acquire manual links/reciprocal way then it would be ban i guess.,

It probably depends on the quality of the links. I agree there is no such thing as building links to fast. On the other hand when Pinterest got started Google wasn't that strict with there algorithms. I think you should have a mixture of low and high quality links.

      Why?

      Plus:

You get a bunch of crappy backlinks from every indexing/appraising site. Isn't that enough?

I'm another one who doesn't believe in a fast-link-building penalty. There are plenty of websites that get mentioned in the media and suffer from an instant barrage of back links. But they're not penalized in any way.

    Those poor, poor websites!
