Thoughts on the Fiverr gigs that offer PR7-9 links? Is it worth it? What kind of damage can they do?

Thanks,

They don't sell pr-7-9 links. They sell pr-0 or none links on sites whose homepage has a PR of 7-9. That makes a huge difference.

    Do they help? Depends.
    Depends on what?

If the pages they put your link on get indexed, you get some help. Will it be enough to move you up in ranks? Depends on how many get indexed.

Do they hurt your site? Depends.
Depends on what? They may be creating thousands of spammy links, not know what they're doing, etc.

You may have noticed that people say don't point fiverr backlinks at your money sites, only at satellite sites (tier 2). That's because they are spammy links, usually created by the thousands.

Yes Thats Right that Fiverr have many Sellers Who sells very low page rank backlinks as if they promised to Provide PR-6 + Sites.

Despite Many of that Problem Fiverr is the world largest Micro SEO Service. So At the Time of Purchasing fiverr gigs Just check the Seller Service Quality.

Your best bet is to check on past clients reviews at the comment section. There some good quality gigs there if you do your due diligence well and listen to your instinct.

Define quality. What is someone says they'll deliver a gazillion forum post links in 5 days and they do. Is that quality? From one point of view (promises made), definitely. From an SEO point of view, nyet.

Also, what if your instinct ain't that good?

You get a lot of seller on fiverr with amazing reviews who sell utterly useless SEO packages.

That's the whole thing- are you going to risk the future of your business on a professional that claims to deliver $200 worth of links for $5?

Most would say no to that, but I can see where some would give it a try.

    Don't do it.

DABK pointed out the obvious scam that's going on here. PR isn't even updated any more, but back in the day it was often fake on sites such as these.

Someone suggested that you do your due diligence, but the vendors can't really disclose their sites even in the case they were being honest. And they're not. They lie in the first sentence of their sales pitch.

Don't use fiverr seo offers. This will ruin your site current rankings. They are spammy links.

I wonder how long I will have to keep saying this.

You get what you pay for. Do you really thing $3.80 (that is how much the person running the gig gets) worth of work is really going to have any kind of impact on your rankings?

      So to be more specific:

      * So the company I've been running marketing for is pretty niche.

      * I hired a few Fiverr jobs that offer 10-50 PR likes that are supposed to be PR 7-9

      * I will use MOZ or SEM Rush to check their quality ultimately and disavow if need be.

      * Avoided all the Fiverr jobs that promise 'thousands' of high quality links

Question: Is this an okay practice?

Check the quality and check if they exist a month later and become convinced of the answer.

My money is on you wasted your money.

They're not, and this is an obvious lie as was pointed out already. You're knowingly buying something that isn't what it says on the tin. It's very probable that the links aren't harmful, but they may not help too much either.

A true PR7 can command a price of several hundred dollars AFAIK.
