How to get rank 1 in Google ranking?

You need to get lots of good content on your site. Use the keywords planner tool to find some good long tail keyphrases to work on. For example "car insurance" would be a main keyword, but "low cost car insurance online" or "buy cheap car insurance online" would be longer keyphrases, known as long tail keywords. Build a bunch of inner pages that have lots of fresh/unique content for each long tail keyphrase. Link to it from your homepage or from some inner pages and then start building links to them. After some time and patience, you should start to see some traffic.

The more pages you make dedicated to long tail keywords and the more backlinks you get going into those pages, the more traffic you might get!

I guess this is the number one question asked....

However it is to complicated for a single response, you need to understand what seo is, it is a landscape of it's former self. No longer can you focus on a few areas and get number one unless you competition of your chosen niche and keywords is low.

Content is king is the old saying and still stands more than ever.
Social media does play a part in the ranking algo although not sure how much.
Links from quality sites, these can be blogs, forums, social bookmarking, article sites etc

First you have to evaluate your market, your competition, find keywords you want to rank for and then do the onsite stuff too.

The question is so open it would be very hard to cover all the possibilities.

Do not think most fiverr services in seo will help you. There are only a very select few that work well but you have to filter through all the ones that give you spam links and meaningless spun content.

In my opinion, Google ranking depend on various factors which are following,
1=> High Quality Contents
2=> On & Off page optimization
3=> High quality backlinks
4=> Social sharing and directory submission
5=> Domain Authority

In addition, there are some other factors except those but start working on it and you will see better result soon.

Create a lot of Informational content pages in your website. Link your home page from all of those pages.

List your website in all the major yellowpages and directories.

Try to encourage your readers or viewers to place a link of your website in their page if they have any.

Follow the search engine rules and create website for user not for search engine. Try to use long tail keyword, also use generic keyword, but remember the competition will very high on generic keyword and use unique content with the help of content writer remember the limits of meta title and meta description. You can create blog for your page and article will help to make a relevant traffic and local listing also good for registered web pages in the local area.

Is this forum getting totally irrelevant? Too much noise here. Especially too many Indians, Bangladeshis/Pakistanis asking extremely stupid questions (at least 80 % crap when an Indian is involved). WTF can you do about it?
