Not really. It doesn't help you.

Rel attribute is only for links so if you're using on img tag it does nothing. Also, those nofollow links are still counted to the total when Google divides the "juice" among the links. They just get none.

    What's your excuse?

Image hosting isn't a link. You don't have to make the image you display a clickable link to the original image. You display the image using the img tag, specifying the source of the image (src=). You don't have to "wrap" the img tag in an anchor tag (a href=). That's why it's been pointed out that including rel="nofollow" for an image won't do anything - the display of the image itself isn't a link.

Whatever suits you. It doesn't matter as I said before. Using a nofollow link doesn't reserve any more "Google juice" for your own links. There's no need to nofollow something like Amazon.

You don't need to repeatedly ask the same question, and if you feel like replying to multiple posts in a row there's a multiquote button to post them as one reply.

Here is a little trick that will matter alot in long run.
If you host your images somewhere else and embedd them in word press, just don't hyper link them to original image file.

Simple way to do it in worpress is to select image while composing a post and click remove link button in post toolbar.

If you can click the image on your money page & it takes you to imgur, yes, add a nofollow on the hyperlink.

You can still rank images on Google SERPs while the image is hosted on a 3rd party domain, example, blogspot host images on Picasa. You can still rank those Picasa images on any domain where SERP traffic lands on your money page, doesn't have to be blogspot sub-domain.
