Adwords Landing Page Technical Question

Hi All,

I had an adwords campaign up and running nicely. I went and changed my landing page a bit, and unfortunately, I stuffed it. I put some broken code in. Of course, this killed my landing page quality score, so all my ads got smashed.

I have now fixed the broken code, and my question is this. Is there any way to tell Google the page is fixed, or do I just have to wait until the bots come along to check it out? If I have to wait, how long do you think it will take?

Thanks.

Thats a tricky one... as sometimes it will automatically respider and reindex for you...

Else you may have to reset your campaign and start it as a fresh one...

If you don't want to wait I would just run a new campaign...

For speed I would trash the campaign and start a new one.

The wil pick up that its fixed in the end by there is no telling how long that will take.

I have about 15 adgroups with 50 or so words in each... I know i can cut and paste, but it will take ages. Was hoping for a quicker way

Just get hold of Adwords Editor, Download all the ppc info onto that, copy all the campaign info, in to a new campaign done in about 4 clicks, or less

Adwords editor if a free google tool.

Just an FYI for folks, you can get Adwords Editor from inside your Adwords account. Under Campaign Management, just click on Tools, scroll down to the bottom right corner of the page under Manage Your Account Offline and click the link for Download AdWords Editor.

Good luck with getting your campaign back on track!

Creating a new campaign is plain idiotic.

Simply create a new ad. This will make Google check your landing page immediately for QS calculations. Adding new keywords has the same effect so if you can come up with a new keyword, problem solved.

I actually went a step further and changed the destination URLs in 1 of the adgroups to a new URL... but it didn't work
