    DevilFish, never give up on links. Backlinks make a great substitution for search traffic assuming those links are well placed at the right sites. For that matter, they might even serve you better than Google ever could!

        I curious those girls doing blog shop.

        They don't know what is SEO , backlink , etc yet their site managed to get many visits.
        They just update their contents , share on social medias that it.

    Absolutely you need them. Your approach is wrong, you look at backlinks/off-site SEO, how about looking at guest posts as traffic/marketing opportunities?

    I bet getting featured on a big time newspaper/niche blog would bring you a ton of business. Guess what? It would help you rank better too! And this doesn't only apply to big time authority sites, it applies to every worthy source of traffic/exposure opportunity.
