Hi Friends,
I need your suggestions on this problem
My main 2 keywords are stuck on the 3rd page for a long time. They are in 5400 and 1300 in average search volume and the competition is high. What to do to improve my keywords rankings?

I am doing all the activities like social bookmarks, web 2.0, forums and my content writer is also doing well with content, what can I do else to improve?

Please help!

stuck on the 3rd page for a long time!
How much long? was it from 3 months or 6 months, can you specify this

all the activities like social bookmarks, web 2.0, forums
Social bookmarking doesn't counts much now a days. Forums you'll be getting nofollow links and some quality traffic. Not a way to improve rankings.

Have you got quality content links for your website? if No, that would be one way where you can improve ranking. And also do check your website SEO Strategy

How old is your website and what is DA of it?

Please suggest me the right way for this.

This doesn't really affect the rankings.

You're trying to talk to a signature spammer. That idiot posts almost identical line to every other thread. It's not a sincere attempt to help you.

I'm not taking your claim about your content writer at face value. Usually content you seen on this forum is just awful. So have a second opinion, and preferably from someone who's not afraid to hurt your feelings if there's a reason.

Forget social bookmarks and forums, that's pointless. What kind of web 2.0 are you talking about? Are you building the backlink profiles of those properties as well?

It's likely that you just need more and better backlinks like everyone else who faces competition.

I have 2 web 2.0 properties with regular update of valuable and fresh blog posts in WordPress and Weebly and I create one back link/post to my main website. I am not creating back links for web 2.0 profiles, what I do is I share those blog posts in Social media profiles. How can I create back links for web 2.0?

You've got half of the process. If the "web 2.0" sites don't have any links pointing to them they have no "juice" to give to your money site. There's a common misconception about "high PR web 2.0" sites. The PR on the front page of the service doesn't matter since they don't link to your blog (i.e. the linking page).

Creating links for these sites isn't much different except that it's fairly common to create less valuable links. Some people use mass posting services and Fiverr-caliber links, but that's getting riskier as time passes on.

There's nothing wrong in sharing your posts to social media sites, but usually the links you get are nofollow and thus don't help directly.

No if you ask Google. Yes if you ask me, but you need to be careful.

Almost all the link sellers you see on a forum such as WF are at least lying to you (there's no such thing as "high PR site"), but some of them may still provide ok-ish links. I've seen honest ones too. Unfortunately I've got nobody to recommend in this space at the moment.

Quality links are earned not purchased. Because Google knows how your site performs well in the web.

SMO will not help your rankings at all. You should be focusing on relevant backlinks with good authority and low out bound links.
