Is WF signature good for SEO of a new non-english site?

Hey,

I have only a 3 week old site in one North-European language promoting loan CPA offers and so far I have concentrated on on-page SEO and not much building backlinks, but like to ask, what if I add the site to my WF signature, may it look spammy to Google, because then will overnight appear 150 backlinks, I have about 150 posts here..

And is it natural if my site is non-english and has then so many backlinks on english site? Or should I wait maybe 6-12 months and then add signature when site is older?

Thanks!

Yes, it would look silly for an English site to link to a non-English site.

Signatures are useless for rankings. I could go on with a ton of reasons, but the biggest one is that signature links here are tagged with the 'nofollow' attribute.

There's a few organic Russian same niche sites linking to my English pages.

I'll take any link as long as it's all relevant, direct traffic is just as good as SEO.

Granted OP is wasting his time If he thinks a nofollow forum sig is SEO.

You must be selling them, otherwise you would not write that they're good for SEO.

Put another way, whatever SEO you're selling must be crap as you don't know SEO.

As far as i know, now google may consider your no-follow links as well. Even if you don 't get a backlink from signature, but still there are some chances of getting traffic from that So, its worth considering!

Pakistan, Turkey, India, Russia, etc. are the biggest scamming spammers out there.

            SEO is hardly an option.

            This is not a secret.

The people that do internet in Pakistan is very small compared to the
overall population. The percent that are online and spam, is staggering.

            Internet use Pakistan: 10%
            Internet use United States: 86%

Those countries, and some Eastern European ones, may _harbour_ the biggest scamming spammers out there. Most Russians and Indians have nothing to do with this crap. Unfortunately their governments haven't been quick to organize police to investigate high-tech crime.

      Let's run some more numbers.

Russia ranks #3 in world wide worst spam.
Yet they rank #67 in the world for percentage of people on the net.

India ranks #127 for percentage of people on the net, yet
ranks #6 for spam, #1 for botnet infected.

Turkey ranks #97 for percent online, #10 worst spammer.

      Now Pakistan.

They rank #167 in the world...yes 168...for percent on the net at only 10%.
Yet they rank #8 for the world's worst botnet infected countries.

Yes people, that means that a huge proportion of those in Pakistan are
      either infecting or infected.

That's my point. Botnet operators don't politely ask if you want to be a part of their network. It's possible that the criminal gangs who run these operations aren't even local.

What reason do you have for saying that? It's a nofollow link which doesn't increase rankings, and I'm in the impression that Google may consider sig links as a link scheme.

It is true that signature links may considered as link scheming due to abusing tactics. There are some people stuffing their keywords through signature links because they believe that its the fastest way to rank their site.

This is exactly why I don't have a signature here, especially one with backlinks. WF backlinks truly are very, very big. So big, in fact, that when I visit WF, I can no longer lift my PC - it becomes way too heavy! Talk to you later, now I'm off to look for very tiny backlinks ...
