Using double redirects/ link juice

Hi there.

Quick question, I've been recommended that if I am to build tiered backlinks properly and safely, one way to make sure they're extra safe is to use 2 redirects such as putting the moneysite url through Owly, then putting that link through Bitly first.

Another reccomendation is to use a web 2.0, and pass the backlink work to direct to the 2.0 which then directs tot he money site.

Any thoughts on this, and how much linkjuice retained through these methods?

The only reason I would consider using a redirect is if I was building spammy, low quality links. The redirect gives you an option to drop them fast.

If you are building solid, more high quality links, there is zero reason to use any kind of redirect.

That is basically what I thought the purpose of this was, to add a layer of protection. because I am not 100% certain of the quality of the backlinks I am putting this in as a safety measure,

I would still build links pointed at the site. I cannot imagine it being a positive signal if most of the linkjuice to the site is flowing through bit.ly redirects and the like.

I don't think the redirect link will help you in SEO your site

You haven't read the question. It has nothing to do with whether a redirect will help with SEO it was about linkjuice and whether it protects against backlinks of unknown quality.
