Hey guys,

I want to do competitor analysis. The first step is, I need to see all the sources of their backlinks. How can I do that?

Link: <competitors website> on google.com doesn't work, does it?

You should sign up to Ahrefs or Majestic SEO. They will allow you to input a competitors domains and look at the links.

A better overall competitor analysis tool would be SEMRush, and I highly advise a combination of Ahrefs and SEMRush

    Cheers.

Yes, I fully support Ahrefs SEO & backlinks analysis tools that you can check your competitors website backlinks, I think you have to subscribe for that.

Otherwise you can check your competitors website backlinks using backlinkwatch.com without cost.

    Good luck

Subscribe to Majestic, Ahrefs, or some other backlink checker. And forget about "all the sources", it's not something that anyone can guarantee.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Thank you guys, for referring Ahrefs and Backlinkwatch. It is a very shameful thing for me that being in SEO industry I didn't know about these two wonderful tools. I will learn to use them. I'm struggling to find exact places of blacklinks in ahrefs. Any suggestions?

You cannot see all competitors unless you had own premium account like moz, ahrefs or Majestic SEO.
I remember one website the name as backlinkwatcher (I am not sure exact URL, you may Google it). It will help you to check free links as well.

Ahrefs is a pretty useful tool. But don't forget that there is NO tool that can show you ALL of the website's backlinks! Be sure to check DA & PA of the websites too!

one word only - Backlinkwatch. It's so easy-peasy to use it. Than you can also try Ahrefs, but I think there'll be no need.

There are various tools to identity backlinks of competitor like Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, etc. But I personally use SEMRUSH! It gives very detailed report of how competitors are building links.

Ahref, majestic and moz would be good but remember nowadays one can hide backlinks from such crawlers so the results you get might not be complete if that's the case.
