Hey,

So I have a client who has their home page as a wordpress site. However, their product/ecommerce page is all shopify same domain. Basically like this..

siteexample.com - Wordpress
shop.siteexample.com - shopify

With this situation, would it be ok to submit shop.siteexample.com to GWT as well? Only the wordpress version is submitted to GWT. We want to make sure that schema.org is in Shopify. Or what's recommended?

WMT doesn't add schema to a site, the webmaster has to code the schema markup on the back end (WP theme, Shopify source code, etc...).

Doubtful Shopify is optimized for anything. Most of those types of services are one size fits all which ends up not helping anyone for SEO.

There's tools that will parse the schema data out of the document, and see that it looks ok. Here's Google's testing tool.

As far as I remember Shopify didn't have schema at one point, but it's been a while since I checked. Also, it seems that you can do the changes yourself.
