Ranking effect by changing the content of a website

Hello,

I own a 10 page website which is in page #1 of google for months now....

I am going to edit and completely replace 2 posts there in the main page...

Do you think that this can affect the ranking of the website badly?

The website has 200-300 back-links as well...

    If you know what you're doing, it's possible to change without losing (except temporarily) your position. But if you're off a bit, you can go down.

    It's best you don't change...

    So Whats your idea to make the said posts in private and then add new posts (the completely changed ones) in place of them?

      Change only the parts that have nothing to do with ranking of course. For those, leave the ones you now have or replace with similar.
