it is really possible to rank image using Backlinks?

Hi guys hope you are doing good.
Today one of my question is that can we really rank our image any particular image for any particular keyword.
Ex.
This is my site XYZ.com and the image url is XYZ.com/Wallpapers/Baby.jpg
So if i want to rank for baby keyword (For just instance not really want to) and build the links to this exact image URL (XYZ.com/Wallpapers/Baby.jpg) will it impact the ranking?

    To get rank img:
    1- HQ resolution.
    2- relative article title + clear img title + alt tag.
    3- larger is better.
    4- make it interested to drive searcher clicks.

    Yes assuming they're decent authority followed links.

    Everything else is weak as far as image SEO.

    Google does not care what the file type is, useful links rank any file type that Google can index. Notice I said useful links, there's a difference.

      So build strong followed backlinks with keyword anchor-text pointing directly at the image URL. Done.
