Adding the same article to multiple websites is going to cause an issue with duplicate content, this is not good practice and will not help you with your off page seo.

I would suggest rewriting the content before submitting to other websites.

You can, but it's not going to do you much good. A lot of ezines give nofollow links. If you find ones that don't add the nofollow tag, the link you get will be weak.

You need links from pages that have links to them. Create pages like those (preferably on self-hosted domains).

Isn't it a duplicate content only occurs within a domain? How the hell it would be considered duplicate if they are from different domains?

And, why the hell spending time on Ezine?

Well, kind of. If you're placing your article on a more authoritative site Google might just filter the copy on your site from the search results. It's not the same as duplicate content.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

I totally agree with you. I usually rewrite my content and make it different from the original one. It helps me in my Off-Page SEO.
      {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[10408949].message }}

        Why do you agree?

Duplicate content is an issue if you it's on the same site or if a version you don't want to rank ranks (as in, Google shows someone else's page not yours in response to searches for your keywords).

Other than that, there's no duplicate content issue.

So, if you can outrank all the copies, if you can't convince Google to show your page, rewriting does you no good, so why rewrite?

If you're sending traffic to your page via other methods (adwords, for instance), rewriting makes sense, if you produce better converting content. Otherwise, just use original versions and give credit.)

No!! It will cause Duplicate Content issue and Google hates duplicate content!!

Instead Search for a free Article Spinner online and post spunned articles. It will have better impact and don't forget to build some 3tier links to your web 2.0 blog to put some power into your link.

Google is now more powerful and smarter than before, they have its own security in shape of different alogs. If you are serious about the SEO of your website or blog then never ever try to share same content on different platform.

But if you want to share article on Ezine then you need to write two different articles on same topic. You can link your blog post on Ezine article.

If you put your article to web 2.0 and publish it to ezine, it wont work because ezine have a high standard quality content. even though you rewrite it, it doesn't make sense.

This won't help your SEO. Instead if you can add social button to the original post and have the post shared by different users of various social media platforms that will help.

If you publish on web2.0 sites or article sites and mention the original source, this will be ok, I mean will not harm, but will not help SEO either. Because Google has the record of the original source of a particular content. If any 3rd party for any reason starts publishing your article on their pages, your site won't be penalized for that regardless of mention of the original source. Backlinks from pages that has no importance from SEO point of view, will add no value to your website. So my answer is No.

It is better to write original content for web2.0 or any other article submissions.

If you copy the content from your site then it will only cause your trouble as there will be problem of duplicate content.

Yes. It's considered duplicate content by people who do know know what duplicate content is.

As to why spend time on Ezine, it's because Ezine gives nofollow links. Nofollow links don't help, therefore, time and effort are wasted and they love wasting time and effort.
