Which domain name is better for optimization?

I have 3 domain names and am not sure which one to use for the best rankings in search engines. I run a product review/informational site in small niche.

The first is 2 words long and contains 1 keyword. although the name is memorable i'm not sure it will place well in search engines. Its a .com

The second is 4 words long and contains a 3 keyword phrase that gets about 8,400 google searches per month. (The phrase has better "commercial intent" ratings) The name is less marketable but the terms are generic. Its is a .org extension. do 4 word domains place as well? are people less likely to click on them

The third is 3 words long and contains 3 keywords that are more informational, but it is a balance between a memorable name and a keyword filled name. the keyword phrase gets about 9,000 google searches per month. its also a .org extension

A 2 word long domain name with a .com is best.

You are not building a site just for search engines. Yes, it's nice for some traffic but it will only bring you a certain amount.

If you have great content on that .com site, the search engines will pick up on it.

You need to make every page on your site...a stand alone page.

Usually visitors won't just come to your index (front) page but will be coming into any page that is indexed in search engines.

Your marketing should be done with articles, videos, podcasts and search engine optimization should be included in all of these.

Having a two word name people remember is an asset along with the fact not too many think to put .org at the end of a domain name.

Even after 11 years on the Internet, I don't think to do it (LOL).

    Hope this helps,

Domain extensions has absolutely no effect on SEO. They are simply categories of Internet domain names. From a SEO perspective all extensions are equal IMO.

I think you should go with the 2 words domain as it is memorable as well as contains 1 keyword. I think memorable and short domains works best even when doing SEO for the website.

In your case, Com domain is the best choice. Because Com domains have been around for a very long time and they have gained much authority and reputation. It may help u with the new site to build reputation.

Thanks all! I am going with the 2 word .com for my main site, but will put up two smaller sites/blogs with the other two domains to link to the main site.

      Thanks!

Keyword is good, futher SEO work will make the most of this.

Branding is great and often understimated.

Its all well and good having submityoursitetohundredsofdirectoriesfor10bucks.co m but directorybooster.com is much better.
