Hello folks

My website is not showing current Meta Title in search result for most of keywords. I have also added "NOPD & NODIR" tag to the website, still I am facing this problem. Please help me to get out of this situation.

Thanks

Google does not use meta title. I'm not sure if anyone does. It's completely meaningless.

If your title tag is something like the one that spammer posted ("Small business accounting software | SaaS Accounting Software | enterprise resource planning |What is an erp system| SaaS | Smb | cloud- Averiware"), Google will probably just change it. They're doing that, and have a support doc to explain it. If your title is that spammy they're probably doing you a favor.

  • Meta title should contain 70 characters if more does not work.

I know you're either padding your post counts or sig spamming, but can you please drop this "meta" in front of that "title"? Google DOES NOT use meta title. It's just so annoyingly stupid to repeat something that's so wrong on such an elementary level.

It doesn't hurt if your CMS or SEO plugin outputs meta title for some reason, but it's also pointless.

As others have pointed out, Google can and do change the title shown if their computer thinks it can show a better one to searchers.

The length of the displayed title is no longer a fixed number of characters - Google takes into account the width of the characters shown and knows that a 'w' is wider than a 'i'.

Yoast's website gives quite a good tutorial on this as do Moz and a lot of other sites.

You know absolutely nothing about SEO. Hence, your affordable
seo services are not worth squat.

As stated above, and something I have ranted about for YEARS HERE....

anyone who does not know the difference between meta title and the
title tag that matters for SEO, is an seo clown and should join the circus.

So go ahead. Use the meta title and see how far that gets you.

Oh and that meta description? It does not help on iota for ranking.

So who the frick is buying your seo services? Fools. Just fools.
