Guest posting still viable?

I have 2 questions regarding guest posting..

1. Are do-follow backlinks from nicherelated guestposting increasing your site DA/PA? (lets assume they come from a midrange PA/DA blogs themselves)

2. Are they still viable as offpage seo or only as a traffic source?

      Nofollow links do absolutely nothing for SEO, the one millionth time this has been said on these forums.

    da = domain age. meaning a backlink will not increase the age of your domain.

    and yes. do follow links are the only links that actually help rankings. no follow links do nothing for seo

    Yes and Yes. Just make sure you post on HQ sites. Guest bloggin on spammy sites may work the otherwise.

    If you are guest posting on blogs with actual readership and authority, then yea of course there is some value there.

    If you are trying to guest post just for linkbuilding purposes then honestly I would rather just hire out some PBN links. Same thing in the end.
