I have a website that has been up for 22 days that is attached to a very popular Reddit post. Within a few days, I had almost 200k views (before I added AdSense ), but it's since leveled out to around ~2500 page views per day. I think that number will hold steady for the next month at least, then depending on the near-immediate future either jump up considerably or hit the dirt.

Meantime, as I said, I average ~2500 page views a day and have 2 AdSense banners on the homepage, at least 1 AdSense banner on the popular pages and a growing list of RSS-fed articles each with a banner - the site grows by 3 pages per day which equates (or will equate) to A LOT of ad banners.

I'm seeing around $1.50-$2.50 per day earned, which seems REALLY LOW to me, however this is my first rodeo with seriously doing AdSense.

Is this an average? Low? High? Any input would be nice.

redditers probably have ad block and/or don't click on ads and yea that is very low.

In my opinion what you are earning is a typical average a day for AdSense. If you put in more work in advertising your site and getting more targeted traffic, you will see more clicks coming in.

Your website niche is not fixed (based on reddit post) so high paying advertisers will not have interest on your website, you're getting ads with lowest cpc ads so low earning from adsense. To have high cpc ads your website niche must be fixed.
