Quick question about Angela's backlinks

I just purchased Angela's August packet. I followed the packet and created some profile pages- though I didn't do so for all 30 yet. I then checked the PR of these pages and they all showed a PR0. I'm new to SEO so I am kind of confused right now as to why these pages are PR0. When I place my link on these pages, does Google see it as a link from a PR0 page or the PR that the home page is?

    What was your PR previously?

The backlinks you created do not show its effect immediately. It may show up the next day though.

My question is different. I too subscribed to Angela's backlinks. What happened is that a day after my backlinking work, my site nose-dived from #7 to number nowhere. Although there may be a lot of other factors to consider, I would like to check if anybody has any experience like this. Was there perhaps a bad site among those links given by Angela? (Note: just asking; not implying that there is).

      Moralde,

Don't worry much about that. Check her FAQ, which comes included with the packet. This is pretty normal and just has to do with google reassessing the page you're talking about. She calls it the "Google Dance". Generally speaking, you'll probably end up in a better position than before within a day or two.

The PRs for all of those pages will generally be 0 because they're inner pages. The main domains are the ones with the high page ranks. The theory behind it is that a site with a high PR is crawled by google often, so there's a good chance your links will be found quickly.

If she was sharing 30 backlinks like this that were directly on PR5 pages and higher, it'd sell for a lot more than $5/month

It's a nice service for the price and you'll see results. Solid ones. The key is to keep on doing it month after month or you'll probably see a drop off.

Thanks, Dandee. Because of this, I have literally stopped any backlinking activity for fear of making things worse. I hate being newbie.

It is totally natural and it is referred to as the "google dance".

I had a site go down to page 6 and is now at position 3 on page 1.

    Just keep linking.

Yeah, I think I'll go ahead with the linking work. My spirit was definitely dampened by the dive. Anyway, some folks in another thread also gave advise on avoiding redundant meta (description and keyword) tags, which I promptly followed. I'm hoping the G will pay my site a visit now and skyrocket it back to where it once belonged.

Thanks for the tip everyone. I was also starting to become concerned about my placements after I started linking. I haven't seen results yet, but I'm confident that I'll see results. Thanks.
