    Include Keyword on 4 elements:

    1. Title
    2. First Paragraph
    3. Middle Paragraph
    4. Last Paragraph

    That's it. Simple!

      Kkchoon is spot on.

Also if you but your keyword in <h> tags.

Throw in a few backlinks and you are laughing!

I like to backlink my articles before they are indexed. This has usually lead to them landing on Page 1 of Google!

      Hi Kirahster,

That poster apparently never reads the thread or even the original post. He/she is responding strictly to the headline. Every single post is exactly the same way. I suspect it's someone just getting post count so they can spam the forum. Maybe even automated forum spamming software, I've seen it many times.

I think it would be better to write keyword optimized articles... Make sure that you have not used the keyword more than 6 times in an articles.

keyword density is very important. I suggest at least 5 keyword per 300 words. that would be OK I think.

  • Do some keyword research first and then select between 2 and 3 targeted keywords which you will use in the title and body of the article.

      Hi Danny,

It's not actually that simple unless you are using a CMS like Wordpress with the proper plugins and settings, which automatically handles most of the mechanics for you.

Wordpress handles the site architecture, internal link structure and URL naming conventions for you. There are many other tweaks you can do besides.

If you get just some of the very basic stuff right you will often be doing better than most folks in a particular niche. The more competitive niches will require more advanced techniques as well as heavy promotional efforts.

You need to cherry pick the content placement. Some properties don't respond to backlinks as much as others.

My main keye to ranking articles with ease is to submit my RSS feed and ping it every few updates.

Also write for the search engines and you might not need to do anything else.

    Hello All

Thanks for the replies I am using drupal for my CMS so yeaah it has all the right mechanics for a good site ect!

I do Keyword research and so this is also there. Writing for the search engines is a good idea and my last article i wrote and it did perform better.

I am in the process of doing a lot of testing but things are looking good in the article front

    Thanks for the replies!
